Destiny 2: Guardian Gauntlet brings the popular FPS MMO to Rec Room

Author : Aaliyah Jan 23,2025

Rec Room and Bungie team up to bring Destiny 2 to a new audience with Destiny 2: Guardian Gauntlet. This new experience recreates the iconic Destiny Tower within the Rec Room platform, offering a unique blend of Destiny 2's sci-fi world and Rec Room's community focus.

Players can now experience the thrill of becoming a Guardian, engaging in epic adventures, and interacting with fellow Destiny 2 fans. The meticulously recreated Destiny Tower is accessible across multiple platforms: console, PC, VR, and mobile, starting July 11th.

Destiny 2: Guardian Gauntlet also introduces a range of cosmetic items themed around the three Destiny 2 classes: Hunter, Warlock, and Titan. The Hunter set and weapon skins are available immediately, with the Titan and Warlock sets launching in the coming weeks.

Rec Room itself is a free-to-download platform that allows users to create and share games, rooms, and other content without coding. It's available on Android, iOS, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox X, Xbox One, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, and PC via Steam.
