Becoming a Hollow in the Hollow Era
Your journey begins as a Soul Spirit, and you face a pivotal decision: become a Shinigami or a Hollow. Choosing the latter means breaking all the links on your chain, which will naturally break every two minutes, transforming you into a Hollow effortlessly.
Warning: Embarking on your Hollow journey can be monotonous compared to playing as a Shinigami. While Hollows are undeniably cooler, be ready for extensive grinding and repetitive kills to reach the prestigious ranks of Vasto Lorde or Espada.
Hollow Progression in the Hollow Era
Your next step is evolving into a Gillian, which requires grinding by killing and consuming other Hollows. You'll unlock Gillian at level 15, but at level 10, you can access the Hueco Mundo dimension via a Garganta gateway, making it easier to hunt and consume Hollows.

Gillian Form in the Hollow Era
As a Gillian, your mission continues with eliminating Hollows and interacting with Hollow Pillars in Hueco Mundo. Accumulate enough Progression Points, and you'll be teleported to your inner world to defeat five tougher Hollows. Repeat this three times to evolve into an Adjucha.
Don't worry about dying during these battles; you can retry as many times as needed.
Adjucha Form in the Hollow Era
Now, the game heats up! As an Adjucha, you can choose to progress towards Vasto Lorde or Arrancar. Let's explore the Arrancar path first.
Arrancar Progression
To become an Arrancar, interact with a Crystal Bush in Hueco Mundo, which spawns every 30 to 60 minutes. Once you reach level 50, you can pursue your Resurrección, but for now, Arrancars can only use Kendo skills.
Vasto Lorde Progression
To evolve into a Vasto Lorde, keep eliminating and devouring Hollows to earn Progression Points. Be cautious, as dying will cost you 1% of these points. You'll need 800 Progression Points to become a Vasto Lorde, gained through defeating various Hollow types.

Vasto Lorde Form in the Hollow Era

Becoming Espada in the Hollow Era
If you choose the Vasto Lorde path, you'll eventually aim to become an Espada. The process is similar to becoming an Arrancar: find and interact with a Crystal Bush in Hueco Mundo.
To spot a Crystal Bush easily, disable Atmosphere, Bloom, and Depth of Field in your settings, then scan the landscape from a high vantage point.
How to Get Your Resurrección
As an Arrancar or Espada, your ultimate goal is obtaining your Resurrección. Reach level 50, then head to Hueco Mundo and speak to Isen, the King of Hueco Mundo.
Isen will assign you a quest to defeat 50 Arrancars. Upon completion, you can activate your Resurrección when your Rage Bar is full and pulsating. Fill it by dealing or receiving damage. The default Resurrección keybind is “Y”, and it deactivates when you run out of Reiatsu or Rage.
