Unlocking the Buffer Weight Stock
Unlike typical attachments earned through gameplay progression, the Buffer Weight Stock is a community unlock tied to The Hit List event. Access the "Event" tab in the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer main menu. Locate the "Community" section within the event; the Buffer Weight Stock will be listed there. Simply viewing this page unlocks the attachment for your Gunsmith. The initial unlock goal (eight billion eliminations) has already been achieved, making this a readily available reward.
Equipping the Buffer Weight Stock
The Buffer Weight Stock's usefulness is somewhat limited. It's compatible with only three weapons: the XM4 Assault Rifle, the DM-10 Marksman Rifle, and the XMG Light Machine Gun. This exclusivity prevents the attachment from dominating the game's meta.
To equip it on one of these eligible weapons, navigate to the Gunsmith in Black Ops 6. Select the desired weapon and choose the "Stock" attachment slot. The Buffer Weight Stock will be available for selection. Once equipped, utilize its accuracy-boosting benefits to dominate in Multiplayer and continue progressing through The Hit List rewards.
