Author : Adam Mar 18,2025

Sniper Elite Resistance offers a thrilling single-player experience, filled with strategic sniping, stealthy maneuvers, and challenging missions. But the real fun begins when you team up with a friend. This guide will show you how to dive into the cooperative and multiplayer action.

How to Play Co-op and Multiplayer in Sniper Elite Resistance

Whether you prefer playing with a friend or a random teammate, Sniper Elite Resistance caters to both preferences. For a friend, you'll need to host a co-op game. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the "Play" section (top left).
  2. Select "Host a Co-op Game."
  3. Invite your friend directly (if they're on your friend list) or generate an invite code by clicking your username (top right).
  4. Choose your mission and start playing!

To play with a stranger, simply select "Find a Co-op Game" from the Play menu. The game will match you with a random player.

For multiplayer, select "Multiplayer" from the main menu, then choose your preferred game mode. Invite friends using your platform's friend system (Steam, Xbox, etc.) or via the invite code method described above. Enjoy various game modes and even custom games for head-to-head sniper battles against your friends!

How to Add Friends in Sniper Elite Resistance

Sniper Elite Resistance primarily uses an invite code system. To play together, generate an invite code by clicking your username in the top-right corner of the screen. Send this code to your friend, who will then click their username and enter the code to join your game.

While direct friend addition isn't available within the game itself, you can add friends and invite them directly through your platform's social features (e.g., Steam, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network).

Sniper Elite Resistance Crossplay Support

One of the best features of Sniper Elite Resistance is its full crossplay support. Play with friends across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation without any platform limitations. However, remember that friend invites are handled through invite codes, not direct in-game friend lists.

That's all you need to know to jump into the cooperative and multiplayer action in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Sniper Elite Resistance is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
