Disney Pixel RPG: Retro-Inspired Game from Teppen Creators Coming Soon

Author : George Apr 27,2025

GungHo Entertainment, renowned for their work on the crossover card-battler Teppen, has unveiled their latest venture: a retro-inspired roleplaying game in collaboration with Disney, titled Disney Pixel RPG. Scheduled for release later this year, the game promises to immerse players in a world filled with iconic, pixelated Disney characters.

In Disney Pixel RPG, players will have the opportunity to recruit and battle alongside a diverse roster of Disney heroes. The game spans multiple worlds inspired by Disney's extensive library, where players will face 'battle, action, and rhythm' challenges. A unique feature of the game is the ability to create and customize your own character, who will join forces with the Disney cast to combat mysterious programs disrupting these pixelated realms.

The gameplay mechanics include an auto-battler system, with the option for players to take direct control at pivotal moments, enhancing the interactive experience. The narrative centers around the struggle against these strange programs, adding depth to the adventure.
