Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive jointly announced on March 13, 2025, that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 is officially in development. This exciting news follows the recent successful launch of Space Marine 2.

Joint Announcement from Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive

Focus Entertainment's Deputy CEO, John Bert, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We're thrilled to announce that the adventure continues with Space Marine 3. Players can anticipate an immersive campaign, a robust multiplayer mode, and innovative features that will redefine third-person action games. Developed in close collaboration with Games Workshop, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 will elevate the genre with even more spectacular large-scale battles."

Saber Interactive CEO, Matthew Karch, added, "We're embarking on the development of Space Marine 3, a game with immense expectations from our rapidly growing fanbase. While we remain committed to supporting and expanding the Space Marine 2 universe in the coming years, we'll leverage our learnings to create an even grander and more spectacular experience for the third installment. This is our opportunity to craft a true love letter to the Warhammer 40,000 universe."

Karch highlighted Space Marine 2's significance for Saber, stating, "Space Marine 2 represents the culmination of everything we've learned in our 25 years of game development. It's been a transformative project for us."
