Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025
Overwatch 2 is thrilled to announce its second collaboration with LE SSERAFIM, perfectly timed with the release of the group's new album, "Hot." This event, kicking off on March 18, 2025, promises a slew of new skins, emotes, and engaging in-game challenges. This follows their successful collaboration celebrating LE SSERAFIM's "Perfect Night" in November 2023. On March 11, Overwatch 2 teased the upcoming festivities with a captivating trailer on Twitter (X). The event was initially hinted at during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12, confirming Blizzard's plans for another exciting partnership.
Players can look forward to new skins for heroes like Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, fans can purchase recolored versions of skins from the 2023 event, featuring LE SSERAFIM-themed outfits for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte.
While the unique Concert Clash mode from the first collaboration won't be returning, there's still plenty to enjoy. Participants can earn the exclusive Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by tackling the event's challenges.
In an interview with Polygon on March 11, Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights into the collaboration. "This time around, we wanted to be part of celebrating their new album," Denett stated. She added, "While we don’t have a new song that’s specific to Overwatch, we had to celebrate K-pop culture, so we made a visualizer for one of the new songs off their album that we’re pretty excited about, along with a lot of extensive cosmetics for this collaboration."
Mark your calendars: The second Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM collaboration runs from March 18 to March 31, 2025. Before the event begins, tune into the Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event on March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST on Twitch and YouTube.
