Tired of the time and expense of traditional music lessons? Ginst offers a fun, intuitive way to learn and play music, transforming your phone into a musical instrument. Forget the hassle – just enjoy the game!

Gameplay Essentials:

This arcade-style music game lets you explore various genres through expertly designed levels. Import your own MIDI files to play custom songs using the integrated browser. Challenge friends online or jam with them locally in multiplayer mode.

Musical Styles:

Choose from a variety of pre-set themes to match your musical taste: Rock, Classical, EDM, and the unique Ginst theme.

Game Modes:

  • Arcade: Learn the basics through tutorials and unlock new modes: Quick Play, Multiplayer, and Free Play.
  • Quick Play: Play in Lead, Bass, or Percussive modes, adjusting the difficulty:
    • Easy: Simple left/right thumb taps.
    • Medium: Tilt your device for pitch control with a wider note range.
    • Hard: Tilt for pitch control with a precise, single-note range.
  • Free Play: Import your MIDI files, select your instrument and tracks, and create your own harmonies. The "Musician" mode lets you play freely using your phone's G-sensor and thumb movements for polyphonic effects.
  • Multiplayer: Local network multiplayer lets you form a band with friends, each playing Lead, Bass, or Percussion.
  • Preview: Watch and listen as the AI plays and learns.
  • Instrument Selection: Switch instruments to customize your sound in any mode.
