Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Receives Rating in Singapore

Author : Violet May 01,2025

The rumor mill for a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake is churning with fresh excitement! Singapore's rating board has just rated "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" with a targeted release date in 2025, adding more fuel to the speculation. This anticipated collection, which would include the next two mainline entries in the beloved series, is reportedly coming to a wide array of platforms including Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

While there's no official confirmation from Activision yet, a countdown timer within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is teasing an imminent Tony Hawk's Pro Skater announcement. The timer is set to reach zero on March 4, 2025, which has fans buzzing with anticipation.

Adding to the excitement, Tony Hawk himself shared in an interview with Mythical Kitchen that he has been in discussions with Activision about an upcoming project. "It will be something the fans will truly appreciate," Hawk hinted, sparking further speculation about the rumored remake.

The success of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake in 2020 made a follow-up with games 3 and 4 seem almost inevitable. However, plans hit a snag when Vicarious Visions, the developer behind the 1+2 remake, was merged into Blizzard in 2021 to focus on other Blizzard projects. Tony Hawk revealed that the original plan was to move straight to remaking 3 and 4 after the 1+2 release, but Activision struggled to find a suitable developer to take on the project.

"The truth of it is that [Activision] were trying to find somebody to do 3 + 4 but they just didn’t really trust anyone the way they did Vicarious, so they took other pitches from other studios," Tony Hawk explained during a 2022 Twitch livestream. "Like, ‘What would you do with the THPS title?’ And they didn’t like anything they heard, and then that was it."

The big question now is: if Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is indeed on the way, who is developing it? The Singaporean ratings board lists Activision as both the publisher and developer, leaving fans curious about the team behind this potential project. With the countdown timer set to end next week on March 4, we might finally get some concrete answers soon.
