Aquarion Tribe Receives Major Buffs, Becomes Thalassic Superstars in Polytopia!

Midjiwan has just released a major update for The Battle of Polytopia, introducing a significant rework for the Aquarion Tribe, the first special tribe that debuted back in 2017. This update promises to enhance your gameplay with an array of exciting changes and additions.

The Aquarion Are Getting A Serious Makeover

Let's dive into the details of their revamped appearance and abilities. The Aquarion land units now boast mermaid tails, signifying their aquatic or amphibious nature. These units can navigate water effortlessly, although they move more slowly on land. A new feature, flooded terrain, allows both land and naval units to occupy the same space, revolutionizing strategic gameplay.

The update extends to buildings, enabling construction on water. Explorers can discover Lost Cities nestled in deep-sea ruins, providing a strategic base for those who prefer to launch their attacks from the sea. A new structure, the Atoll, connects water cities, eliminating the need for roads. The return of Aqua Crops, now a permanent feature, functions similarly to their terrestrial equivalents, adding a new layer of resource management.

Prepare to encounter new sea creatures in The Battle of Polytopia, thanks to the updated Aquarion Tribe. Sharks now offer surprise attacks, Puffers bring long-range bombardments, and Jellies deliver electric shocks to their enemies. Familiar favorites, Tridentions and Crabs, also make a comeback. Crabs have the unique ability to flood tiles they traverse, complementing the mermaid-tailed troops perfectly. Curious about the visuals? Take a look at the trailer below!
