Phasmophobia's Do As I Command Challenge: A Guide to Completion
Challenge Mode in Phasmophobia presents weekly, unique contracts with specific conditions and equipment. This guide focuses on the "Do As I Command" challenge, a relatively easier option within Challenge Mode.
Understanding Challenge Mode
Challenge Mode tasks reset weekly on Sunday. Success requires completing the assigned contract three times (not necessarily consecutively) before the reset. Correctly identifying the ghost is crucial for each attempt; optional objectives offer bonus points but aren't mandatory. A successful challenge yields a $5,000 base reward plus earned points.
Conquering "Do As I Command"
The "Do As I Command" challenge, unlike some others, offers minimal alterations to ghost behavior and equipment. The challenge description indicates a less active ghost, requiring players to actively elicit evidence. The contract is set in Sunny Meadows (the "Restricted" version is excluded).
The challenge provides a Tier 3 equipment loadout, including a functional fuse box. A significant advantage is the availability of all seven Cursed Possessions, conveniently located together in the chapel.
Strategic Use of Cursed Possessions
Items like the Haunted Mirror or Ouija Board expedite ghost location identification. The Voodoo Doll or Monkey Paw can provoke ghost activity, aiding evidence gathering. However, exercise caution due to potential sanity loss and cursed hunts.
By strategically utilizing these possessions and the provided equipment, players can effectively overcome the challenge's unique conditions.
Phasmophobia is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
