Pokémon TCG: Undervalued Triple-Pack Blisters – A Smart Investment?
The Pokémon TCG landscape is constantly evolving. Cards once overlooked can quickly become highly sought-after collector's items. Currently, several triple-pack blisters are readily available at retail, but this window of opportunity may not last. Sets like Stellar Crown, Twilight Masquerade, Shrouded Fable, Obsidian Flames, and Paldean Fates are all popular, making these blisters an excellent chance to acquire valuable and visually stunning cards from the Scarlet & Violet era.
Why These Blisters Are Worth Buying Now
I've already secured several of these myself. If you're planning on purchasing Pokémon TCG products before the end of 2025, these blisters represent a strong investment. Beyond the three booster packs, the promo cards included are likely to become increasingly rare once these sets are out of print. Once collectors realize their potential value, prices will undoubtedly surge.

Stellar Crown is arguably the most underrated set in the Scarlet & Violet series. While Temporal Forces and Twilight Masquerade receive considerable attention, Stellar Crown boasts exceptional pulls. Fans of Special Illustration Rares will appreciate cards like Terapagos ex (170/142) and Bulbasaur (143/142). Prices are already rising. My personal favorite is Squirtle (148/142), capturing the playful essence of this classic Gen I Pokémon. The value proposition is strong, whether you open them immediately or hold them for later. The set's rarity will only increase as collectors pursue the beautiful crystal-style Terastal Pokémon.

Twilight Masquerade is a set that many will likely regret not purchasing more of in the future. Why? Greninja ex (214/167) has already reached £300 and shows no signs of decreasing. It combines nostalgia, stunning artwork, and Greninja's enduring popularity. Beyond Greninja, the set is packed with desirable cards. Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex (216/167) stands out with its unique playstyle and Studio Ghibli-esque artwork. Cassiopeia (094/064) is a top-tier Trainer card, both collectible and playable. These blisters are easily accessible, offering a chance to capitalize on the upcoming hype.

Shrouded Fable may have been overshadowed by other Scarlet & Violet sets, presenting a unique opportunity. Lower opening rates mean the best cards will be harder to find, leading to increased value. Duskull (068/064) and Dusknoir (070/064) are already appreciating due to their linked artwork and competitive viability. The Special Illustration Rare Pecharunt ex (093/064) is a remarkable Legendary promo, and the Pecharunt deck is highly popular. Persian (078/064), with its stunning Gen I artwork, is poised to become a sleeper hit.

Obsidian Flames, despite being a Charizard-centric set, hasn't received the attention it deserves. This makes the triple-pack blisters a bargain. Charizard ex (Special Illustration Rare, 228/197) is the star, but even the regular Charizard ex (Ultra Rare, 125/197) is in demand. History shows that Charizard-focused sets increase in value significantly. However, Ninetales (Illustration Rare, 190/197) is my personal favorite, featuring breathtaking artwork. These blisters are worth acquiring for Charizard alone, but the set offers much more.

Paldean Fates is brimming with Shiny Pokémon, boasting over 130. The pull rates are enjoyable, but Shiny Pikachu (131/091), already fetching nearly £50, is the main draw. Demand will only increase, with no guarantee of another Shiny Pikachu release soon. Shiny Gardevoir ex (233/091) is visually stunning and highly playable. For Gen I enthusiasts, Charmander (109/091) and Charmeleon (110/091) are essential, forming a key part of a popular Charizard deck. The entire evolution line is likely to appreciate in value.
