HoYoverse's Tears of Themis Unveils "Ballad of the Dunes" Collaboration
Tears of Themis has launched a new collaborative event, "Ballad of the Dunes," partnering with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This exciting crossover fuses the game's signature detective work with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a historic Chinese city bordering the Gobi Desert.

This event blends history, romance, and mystery against the backdrop of the ancient Silk Road. Players will unravel intriguing cases steeped in the atmosphere of Dunhuang's captivating past. Key additions include:

Four New MR Cards: Featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each card showcases distinct aspects of Dunhuang's culture, from flying apsaras to intricate murals and the traditional pipa. The artistic style draws inspiration from the Mogao Caves' ancient performers.

Unique Card Stories: Each MR card—Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation"—offers a unique narrative and Private Messages that delve into a thousand-year-old journey.

Event Rewards:
From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A central gameplay element involves a cell-flipping board game to uncover prizes. The ultimate reward is a choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Completing 100 cells unlocks the exclusive "Celebration – Dunes" Namecard.
