Splatoon's Callie and Marie Drop Game Lore in Nintendo Magazine Interview

Nintendo's Summer 2024 Magazine features a six-page spread on the musical groups within the Splatoon franchise. The "Great Big Three-Group Summit" interview brings together:

  • Deep Cut (Shiver, Big Man, and Frye)
  • Off The Hook (Pearl and Marina)
  • Squid Sisters (Callie and Marie)

The artists discussed collaborations, festival performances, and shared personal anecdotes from their time in the Splatoon series. Callie fondly recounted Deep Cut's tour of Splatlands:

"The natural beauty of Scorch Gorge was breathtaking! And I had so much fun squeezing through the Hagglefish Market crowds," Callie exclaimed. "Those super-tall buildings were amazing! It was unforgettable!"

Shiver responded, "We hope you appreciated it. We know where the Splatlands shine best."

Marie, ever the tease, suggested a reunion for all the groups, hinting that Callie might get emotional at the memory. She also reminded Off The Hook of their overdue teatime.

Marina agreed, mentioning a new sweets shop in Inkpolis Square they could all visit. Pearl extended the invitation to Frye, adding a playful challenge: "You're invited too, Frye. Let's settle the score from that last karaoke battle!"
