The PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 is heating up! Despite recent frosty updates to the game, the conclusion of the League Stage has intensified the competition. Brute Force, INFLUENCE RAGE, and ThunderTalk Gaming are the latest teams to secure their spots in the finals.
While many PUBG Mobile players are likely enjoying the chill of the Icemire Frontier update (icy dragons and all!), the League Stage has been anything but relaxed for the competing teams. The recently concluded stage added three more teams to the December finals lineup.
Brute Force, INFLUENCE RAGE, and ThunderTalk Gaming will join the previously qualified teams at the London ExCel Center from December 6th to 8th. However, the competition isn't over for those who didn't make the cut this time.
The Survival Stage runs from November 20th to 22nd, narrowing the field from 24 teams to 16. A Last Chance stage, from November 23rd to 24th, will offer six additional teams a shot at the Grand Finals.
Aiming High
The PUBG Mobile Global Championship has generated significantly more buzz than this summer's PUBG Mobile World Cup, despite the latter's extensive marketing. This could be attributed to the World Cup's location in Riyadh, which may have been more focused on promoting Saudi Arabia as a gaming hub. The Global Championship, however, benefits from its more accessible London location.
