Pokémon GO Set To Roll Out Safari Ball In The Wild Area Event 2024

The Pokémon GO Wild Area event is almost here, and the highlight is undoubtedly the Safari Ball – the game's seventh Poké Ball! This article covers everything about this exciting new event and its unique ball.

What's the Pokémon GO Safari Ball?

Longtime Pokémon fans will recognize Safari Zones from the main series games. These areas let you catch rare Pokémon without battles, a feature Niantic is recreating in this Wild Area event.

Pokémon GO hasn't introduced many new Poké Balls. Regularly used balls include the standard Poké Ball, Great Ball, and Ultra Ball, alongside Premier Balls and the coveted Master Ball.

The Wild Area event runs globally from November 23rd to November 24th, 2024, ending at 6:15 pm local time. Important: Any unused Safari Balls vanish from your inventory after the event concludes.

During the event, the Safari Ball becomes your best bet for catching powerful Pokémon. Niantic's decision to introduce it during a new event, rather than existing Safari Zone or City Safari events, is intriguing.

The ball's design remains a mystery, though many speculate it'll feature the green camouflage pattern familiar to fans of the core games. We'll have to wait and see! What are your predictions? Share your thoughts in the comments.
