The Pokémon GO Fidough Fetch event offers a plethora of Field Research tasks and Global Challenges, rewarding players with guaranteed Fidough encounters – evolvable into Dachsbun.

This event, running from January 4th, 2025, at 4:45 AM NT to January 8th, 2025, at 11:45 AM NT, introduces Fidough and Dachsbun (though Shiny versions remain unavailable). This guide outlines all the event's Field Research and Global Challenges.

Pokémon GO Fidough Fetch: All Field Research Tasks and Rewards

Six distinct Field Research tasks, each with varied rewards, await trainers. Tasks involve catching Pokémon, executing specific throws, and completing Routes.

The Fidough Fetch event also features escalating Global Challenges centered around Nice Throws. Completing each unlocks the next, culminating in six tiers of rewards.

  • Goal: 50,000,000,000 Nice Throws
  • Rewards: 2x XP for catching Pokémon

Global Challenge Level 2:

  • Goal: 75,000,000,000 Nice Throws
  • Rewards: 2x Stardust for catching Pokémon, additional Field Research task unlocked
  • Wild Spawn Added: Fidough

Global Challenge Level 3:

  • Goal: 100,000,000,000 Nice Throws
  • Rewards: 2.5x XP for catching Pokémon, additional Field Research task unlocked
  • Wild Spawn Added: Hisuian Growlithe (Shiny Available), Greavard

Global Challenge Level 4:

  • Goal: 125,000,000 Nice Throws
  • Rewards: 2.5x Stardust for catching Pokémon

Global Challenge Level 5:

  • Goal: 150,000,000 Nice Throws
  • Rewards: 3x XP and 3x Stardust for catching Pokémon

  • Goal: 175,000,000 Nice Throws
