Activists are targeting Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 following the discovery of subpoenas within the game, sparking a campaign to cancel the project. The controversy gained traction after reports of the game's ban in Saudi Arabia fueled speculation about its content and alleged "progressive" themes.
This has led to online attacks against the developers, with calls to boycott Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and discourage support for the studio.
Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, addressed the controversy, urging the public to trust the developers and avoid spreading misinformation found online.
Stolz-Zwilling confirmed that review codes will be distributed in the coming days, following the game's completion in early December. These codes are expected to be released four weeks prior to launch, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time to prepare their content.
Interestingly, initial "final previews," based on review copies, are anticipated just a week after the release of these review codes.
