Hearthstone's Next Expansion: The Emerald Dream Coming Soon

Hearthstone

The Emerald Dream expansion in Hearthstone is set to enchant players when it launches on March 25th, introducing a magical yet perilously twisted realm with 145 new cards that include innovative mechanics and legendary Wild Gods.

What’s Happening in This Expansion?

Ysera’s serene domain, the epicenter of all Nature magic, faces a dire threat. Players have the choice to either safeguard its beauty or succumb to the ensuing chaos. Central to the Into the Emerald Dream expansion is the new keyword, Imbue. If you're playing as a Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, or Shaman, you'll be blessed by the World Tree.

The first time you play an Imbue card, your Hero Power undergoes a transformation, becoming more potent and customized to your class. Subsequent uses of Imbue cards further enhance your Hero Power. For instance, Hunters receive the Blessing of the Wolf, while players of other classes can only watch with envy, as Imbue has no effect outside the chosen six classes.

Alternatively, if the role of a nature protector doesn't appeal to you, the Old Gods offer a sinister path through the Dark Gifts keyword. This new mechanic is designed for Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior players, offering corrupting enhancements that integrate with Discover options. These enable the creation of nightmare-inducing minions capable of causing widespread devastation. The Emerald Dream expansion features 10 different Dark Gifts.

The expansion also introduces The Wild Gods, legendary minions that are monumental forces of nature. Each class has its own Wild God to rally behind, some of which have succumbed to corruption, creating a compelling divide between those defending the Dream and those intent on plunging it into Nightmare.

The Emerald Dream expansion promises a wealth of new content for Hearthstone, set to launch on March 25th. Get ready for the adventure by downloading the game from the Google Play Store.
