The iconic Kinetic Blade from Chapter 4 Season 2 has made a triumphant return to Fortnite Battle Royale in Chapter 6 Season 1, also known as Fortnite Hunters. Fans of the game now have the exciting choice between the Kinetic Blade and the newly introduced Typhoon Blade. This guide will help players navigate finding the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite and master its use, allowing them to make an informed decision on whether to wield this weapon over the Typhoon Blade.

How to Find the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite

The Kinetic Blade can be found in both Battle Royale Build and Zero Build modes. To locate this elusive weapon, players should search for it as floor loot or within regular and Rare chest containers.

Be aware that the drop rate for the Kinetic Blade is currently low, making it a challenging item to find. Additionally, the absence of dedicated katana stands, unlike the Typhoon Blade, further complicates its discovery in the game.

How to Use the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite

The Kinetic Blade is a formidable melee weapon that empowers players with rapid movement and the ability to deal significant damage to opponents before they can react.

Unlike the Typhoon Blade, which requires sprinting for increased speed, the Kinetic Blade utilizes a Dash Attack to swiftly lunge forward. This maneuver not only enhances mobility but also inflicts 60 damage to any enemy it strikes. It can be executed up to three times in succession before needing to recharge.

For a different tactical approach, players can employ the Knockback Slash attack, which delivers 35 damage and forcefully pushes enemies away. This attack can cause additional fall damage if the knocked-back opponent falls from a height, potentially leading to their elimination.
