Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, dubbed Sandlord, has just launched and it's the game's most expansive season to date. With a plethora of new content, this season transforms the gameplay, inviting you to construct a floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city you'll manage. Here, you'll collect resources from the Netherrealm and transform them into tangible benefits by assigning workers to one of five professions. This system opens up new trade routes, offers bonuses, and provides seasonal rewards, seamlessly blending action RPG combat with strategic simulation.
Thea, once a divine channeler, has undergone a dark transformation into the Blasphemer. Instead of bestowing blessings, she now spreads desecration, inflicting Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.
The Deep Space region has also been revamped, featuring five new stages brimming with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, has been introduced. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy their own slot, boosting both your rewards and the level of difficulty.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame content is enriched with new Legendary Stages that, though rare, are highly rewarding and alter your gameplay strategy. Certain zones defy traditional expectations; for instance, the Abyssal Vault contains no enemies, only Mystery Chests ready to be explored.
In contrast, the Sea of Rites is overrun with goblins that don't attack but can be defeated to potentially summon a hidden boss. The Supreme Showdown introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic for both players and bosses, allowing you to convert enemies into treasure with the right strike.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the thrilling new season.
