Disney Dreamlight Valley: Jasmine Quest Guide & Rewards

Author : Bella Jun 15,2025

The world of *Disney Dreamlight Valley* just got a little more magical with the arrival of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine in the free “Tales of Agrabah” update. If you're eager to deepen your bond with Jasmine and unlock exclusive rewards, this comprehensive guide walks you through every step of her Friendship Path—quest by quest—and reveals what treasures await you along the way.

Jasmine’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once Jasmine has officially joined Dreamlight Valley and you've had the chance to explore Agrabah, begin building your friendship by engaging in daily conversations and offering her gifts. Once she reaches Friendship Level 2, her first unique quest—“The Enchanted Flower”—will become available via her interaction menu.

The Enchanted Flower (Friendship Level 2)

This quest kicks off Jasmine’s personal storyline. She’ll tell you about an odd note she discovered in her home—written in her own handwriting, yet completely unfamiliar to her. The note details how to create Enchanted Pots of Blooming, and Jasmine suspects Merlin might have some insight into its meaning.

Merlin will confirm that these enchanted pots can grow a mysterious flower holding a hidden secret. He mentions that the seeds are stored somewhere within the Dreamlight Library. Head inside and interact with the table on the right side to retrieve the envelope containing the seeds.

After delivering the envelope to Jasmine, it’s time to gather ingredients. You’ll need three daisies and two rising penstemons (any color), then craft three Enchanted Pots of Blooming using 15 Soil and 5 Dream Shards per pot (totaling 45 Soil and 15 Dream Shards).

Return to Jasmine’s house and place the flowers in the appropriate pots according to the hint found in the vanity book: “While the sunny daisy needs a window to thrive, the rising penstemon is a flower that prefers the shadows.”

  • Penstemon – behind the coffee table in the corner
  • Daisy – next to the vanity
  • Penstemon – near the entrance
  • Daisies – under the window opposite the vanity

Once placed correctly, the central Enchanted Flower will bloom, revealing a locked diary at its core. Talk to Jasmine about this discovery. She’ll need time to decode the diary’s contents before moving forward. This concludes the first major quest in Jasmine’s path.

A Sandy Competition (Friendship Level 4)

In this next chapter, Jasmine discovers that Sea Sand Sparks are needed to open one of the diary’s locks. With no idea where to find them, you’re tasked with consulting Moana—who points you toward the Sea Sand Torch, a rare magical item you must craft.

Gather the following materials:

  • 5 Softwood
  • 5 Fiber
  • 3 Sand
  • 1 Aquamarine

Craft the torch and place it on Dazzle Beach. Meet Jasmine beside it, and she’ll collect the Sea Sand Sparks. Next, you’ll need a Special Starfish, which only Maui claims to have ever caught—but he won’t hand it over easily.

Maui challenges you to a competition, and you and Jasmine decide on a Sandcastle Contest. Craft the required items:

ItemMaterialsQuantity
Sandcastle Door10 Sand
3 Clay
1 Seaweed
1
Sandcastle Wall15 Sand
5 Clay
2 Seaweed
3
Sandcastle Corner Tower25 Sand
6 Clay
4 Seaweed

Place all nine sandcastle pieces on Dazzle Beach and speak with Maui to finish the contest. Upon winning, you’ll receive the Special Starfish.

Combine the Sea Sand Sparks and Special Starfish at a crafting bench to forge the Beach Key. Use it on the diary in Jasmine’s house to unlock the first lock, revealing that it's actually your childhood journal—Jasmine was protecting it for you.

Talk to Jasmine once more to complete the “A Sandy Competition” quest.

Hot and Cold (Friendship Level 7)

As Jasmine investigates the second lock, she finds a seashell engraving leading to a snowflake symbol—an object foreign to her desert home. She seeks help from Elsa, who guides you to a mysterious ice block and chest in her cave.

Photograph the sun and snowflake symbols found on pedestals in the cave, then locate matching symbols around the Sunlit Plateau and Frosted Heights respectively:

  • Sun Symbol Locations:
    • Rock wall after entering Sunlit Plateau
    • Corner inside Scar’s alcove
    • Tall rock near Forgotten Lands entrance
    • Opposite side of the river pond
    • Base of Forgotten Lands entrance near pond
  • Snowflake Symbol Locations:
    • Wall behind Elsa’s cave
    • Behind Olaf’s cave (left rock)
    • End of river left of Olaf’s cave
    • Tall rock near Forest of Valor ramp
    • River rocks near bridge above Elsa’s cave

Returning with photographic evidence causes the ice to melt, allowing access to the chest. Retrieve the Ice Key and return to Jasmine.

Upon returning, you’ll discover the Enchanted Flower is missing. Follow Jasmine to the Plaza, then track the petals to the Glade of Trust’s giant willow tree. Inside Mother Gothel’s home, confront her and reclaim the flower.

Back in Jasmine’s house, use the Ice Key on the second lock of the diary. This unlocks the final pages, revealing cherished memories. Share the journal with Jasmine to complete the “Hot and Cold” quest and reach the final stages of your friendship journey.

Jasmine’s Friendship Rewards

Level up your bond with Jasmine through daily chats, gifting her favorites (three per day), and taking her along on quests. Serving her meals at Chez Remy or Tiana’s Palace also boosts friendship significantly.
