Devil May Cry Collaboration Rumors Fuel Fortnite Hype

Fortnite x Devil May Cry Collaboration Imminent? New Leaks Suggest So

Recent leaks suggest a highly anticipated crossover between Fortnite and the Devil May Cry franchise may be on the horizon. While Fortnite leaks are common, and not all pan out, the persistence of this rumor, coupled with corroboration from multiple sources, is generating significant excitement among players.

The collaboration has been a long-standing wish among fans, fueled by years of speculation. This potential partnership gains further credence considering Fortnite's previous successful collaborations with Capcom, notably the inclusion of Resident Evil characters. The addition of Devil May Cry characters would be a welcome addition for many Capcom enthusiasts.

Reliable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, citing information from Loolo_WRLD and Wensoing, has added weight to the speculation. Interestingly, Wensoing points out that XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker initially mentioned this rumor in 2023. Since then, a growing number of insiders have independently confirmed the information, suggesting an imminent reveal.

Timing and Character Speculation

Given the numerous anticipated additions to Fortnite in the coming weeks, some speculate the Devil May Cry collaboration might launch after Chapter 6 Season 1 concludes. While the extended timeframe for confirmation has raised some skepticism, Nick Baker's proven track record with past Fortnite leaks (Doom and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaborations) lends credibility to the rumor.

The selection of characters remains a key point of discussion. Dante and Vergil, the most iconic Devil May Cry characters, are strong contenders. However, the recent Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration, which unexpectedly featured Female V, demonstrates that Fortnite developers aren't always bound by conventional choices. Following this precedent, and considering previous Capcom crossovers, the inclusion of female characters like Lady, Trish, or Nico is a distinct possibility. Other popular characters like Nero (Devil May Cry 4) and V (Devil May Cry 5) are also potential candidates.

With this leak resurfacing, anticipation is high for official confirmation and further details regarding the collaboration.
