Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time Caps Off Marvel's Bloodiest Trilogy

Author : David Feb 19,2025

Cullen Bunn's Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe One Last Time is the highly anticipated finale to the Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe saga. This time, Deadpool's murderous rampage isn't confined to a single universe; he's taking on the entire Marvel multiverse.

IGN recently interviewed Bunn, revealing details about this epic conclusion. The series will feature a multitude of alternate reality versions of Marvel heroes and villains, including the previously teased Cap-Wolves and Worldbreaker Hulks. Bunn emphasizes the unique approach to this installment, stating that it's designed to be distinct from its predecessors. He highlights the inclusion of lesser-known characters, some absent from comics for over 30 years, promising epic battles.

Artist Dalibor Talajić, returning from previous installments, will continue his innovative approach to visual storytelling, adding a unique artistic flair to each multiverse encounter. While not directly connected to the previous two books, One Last Time offers subtle hints for observant readers, creating a standalone narrative with its own unique storyline.

Bunn describes this Deadpool as more sympathetic than in previous iterations, posing the question: "What if Deadpool killed the Marvel Universe... and we were rooting for him to succeed?" This shift in perspective and Deadpool's altered mindset promise a fresh take on the character.
