Following the monumental Update 2.0, Black Border 2 has rolled out Update 2.1, which, while not as expansive, still packs a punch with exciting new features and much-needed fixes. The developers have listened closely to the community, addressing many issues and enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
What’s New in Update 2.1 of Black Border 2?
One of the most thrilling additions to Black Border 2 in Update 2.1 is the introduction of five new wanted characters, available at level 36. These aren't your typical travelers; they're potential troublemakers who could slip through the border if you're not vigilant. It's crucial to catch them before they escape, as letting one through means you'll have to face the consequences.
The update also brings more life to the border interactions. With new emotes, the characters you interrogate now exhibit more personality, whether they're trying to charm, plead, or even frustrate you during your questioning sessions.
The bribery system in Black Border 2 has seen some tweaks too. Bribes no longer appear randomly; they're now triggered only when you reject a character's request. This change adds more significance to each decision you make at the border.
A small but appreciated update is the immediate reward system for building projects. Now, instead of waiting, you'll receive your rewards instantly upon completion, streamlining your progress.
Lastly, Update 2.1 enhances the game's audio and visual effects. New sound effects for actions like stamping and document handling, along with animations for warning papers, vehicle spins, and manual inspections, make the game more immersive and engaging.
