According to a PC Gamer report, Johnson was found unconscious and barely alive in his hotel room after failing to appear at a charity event. His wife, Kim, raised the alarm when he didn't answer her calls, prompting hotel security to intervene. Emergency responders had difficulty locating a pulse.
