Become a Road Guardian and Help Prevent Accidents!
Originally launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - Our Shared Highway" project aims to promote safer driving habits through public awareness and accountability. Since January 2023, the "Safe Journey" nonprofit organization has taken over its management.
Any individual aged 18 or older can participate by simply downloading the "Road Guardians" mobile application to report dangerous driving behaviors.
How It Works
The application offers quick and simple operation:
- Activate the app before beginning your journey
- When witnessing a traffic violation, initiate reporting through either:
- Voice command activation
- Bluetooth steering wheel button press
The app will automatically record both video evidence and a description of the infraction.
All submitted reports are reviewed by trained volunteer traffic monitors at our central operations center. Offenders will receive a notification containing video evidence of their violation. For particularly dangerous offenses, reports are escalated to local law enforcement authorities.
