Following reported delays in the Xbox certification process, Microsoft has reportedly apologized to Jyamma Games for the setback impacting the launch of their debut title, Enotria: The Last Song.
Xbox Apology Resolves Enotria Release Delays, But Date Remains Uncertain
Jyamma Games Expresses Gratitude to Phil Spencer and the Community
Microsoft's apology came after Jyamma Games publicly voiced frustration over a two-month delay in Xbox certification. This delay, initially causing the indefinite postponement of the Xbox release, prompted Jyamma CEO Jacky Greco to express concern on Discord, stating that Microsoft appeared unresponsive to their submissions.
However, following Microsoft's intervention and apology, Jyamma Games shifted its tone. On X (formerly Twitter), the studio thanked Phil Spencer and his team for their swift response and assistance in resolving the situation. They also acknowledged the significant support from their player community.
"We're now collaborating closely with Microsoft," Jyamma Games confirmed, expressing hope for a prompt Xbox release. Greco further elaborated on the Discord server, confirming Microsoft's apology and commitment to resolving the issue.
This isn't an isolated incident. Funcom recently reported optimization challenges porting Dune: Awakening to the Xbox Series S.
While the PS5 and PC releases of Enotria: The Last Song remain on track for September 19th, the Xbox release date remains uncertain. For more information on Enotria: The Last Song, please refer to the link below.
