In 2025, World of Warcraft will finally introduce its highly anticipated housing system, and Blizzard has unveiled initial details. Initially, players can select a plot in one of two zones: an Alliance zone (combining elements of Elwynn Forest, Westfall, and Duskwood) or a Horde zone (blending Durotar, Azshara, and the Durotar coastline).
Each zone will be divided into districts, each hosting approximately 50 homes. Players can choose to settle in an open area or create a private community with friends and guildmates. Extensive customization options will be available, with most obtainable in-game, and some offered in the shop.
