Ultimate Arise Crossover Beginner’s Guide (Beta)

Author : Emery Mar 29,2025

*Arise Crossover* may seem straightforward at first glance, with its mechanic of gathering Shadow units to attack defenseless enemies, all in the pursuit of even stronger Shadows. However, reaching the endgame can leave even seasoned players scratching their heads about progression, leveling, and Shadow selection. If you're one of those players feeling lost, this guide is here to steer you in the right direction.

How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

In Arise Crossover, each of the three islands features various recruitable Shadows and a formidable dungeon Shadow. Based on their types, Soondoo, obtainable at the game's start, is the weakest unit, while Mifalcon, found on the final Brum Island, is the strongest.

However, what truly matters in Arise Crossover is not just the type of Shadow but its rank. A Rank A Soondoo can outperform a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked units have the potential to reach higher levels, with a Rank D unit capping at Level 75 and an SS Unit reaching up to Level 200. Ultimately, the dream team in Arise Crossover would comprise four level SS Mifalcons, but the journey to assemble such a squad is where the real game lies.

Dungeon Portals in Arise Crossover appear every 30 minutes and remain active for 15 minutes. Even if you enter a dungeon just before it closes, you're allowed to finish it in its entirety. Portals can spawn in various locations on each island, with their difficulty randomly assigned.

When starting out, aim to assemble a team of Rank D units and tackle a Rank D or C dungeon on Leveling Island. This approach will help you gather a solid group of units, potentially including rare (boss) Shadow Units. Remember, dungeons are your sole source for recruiting Rare Units and common units above Rank C.

Whenever you receive a notification about a portal spawning, go for it. Even if your team isn't up to par, linger by the portal and wait for a more experienced player to join. Many players can solo these dungeons and often welcome lower-level players to tag along, offering a chance to recruit higher-ranking units. Recruiting Shadows from dungeons is the key to progressing in Arise Crossover.

In our experience, a kind player once guided us through a Rank A dungeon with our Rank C units, enabling us to recruit Rank A units and eventually reach the endgame. We, in turn, helped others with Rank D units through a Rank S dungeon. We encourage you to continue this cycle of generosity.

Arise Crossover Weapons

During this Beta phase, player weapons in Arise Crossover are largely ineffective. They might offer a slight boost in the early game, but their impact diminishes significantly by the second island. The Iron Kando Blade, the strongest common weapon currently available, costs 60 million and deals 516,1K damage. In contrast, our units were delivering 200 to 400 million damage. Therefore, unless you're looking to spend extravagantly, it's best to save your money for future updates.

How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover

Similar to dungeons, wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, but only one player can attempt to claim each spawn. A server-wide message announces each new mount, but you won't be notified if someone else claims it or if it vanishes.

Mounts can appear in six different locations: on the back of the main islands or on the smaller side islands between two major ones. Check the developer's map for exact spawn points.

You can't claim the same mount more than once, and attempts at capturing can fail. Flying mounts are the rarest, with a 10% spawn rate, while ground mounts are more common, and water mounts can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC.

To get a mount, keep an eye out for the server message and race to the six potential spawn locations. While mounts aren't essential for progressing in Arise Crossover, a flying mount can significantly ease travel.

This guide covers the essentials for navigating Arise Crossover. As the game evolves with updates, we'll continue to refine this guide. In the meantime, don't forget to check out the Arise Crossover codes for some fantastic freebies.
