Netflix Games is soon adding the narrative-driven action-adventure game, Thirsty Suitors, to its platform. Currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, this unique title blends turn-based combat, skateboarding, and cooking to create a compelling breakup simulator.
Winner of the 2022 Tribeca Games Awards and nominated for several prestigious awards, including the 2024 New York Game Awards and the 2024 GLAAD Media Award, Thirsty Suitors offers a fresh take on the dating sim genre.
Set in the 1990s, the game explores themes of culture, relationships, and self-discovery. Players battle exes using a turn-based RPG combat system incorporating a mood mechanic to exploit weaknesses. Beyond combat, players can showcase their culinary skills by preparing South Asian-inspired meals to win back their mom's approval, and master skateboarding tricks throughout the town of Timber Hills and Bearfoot Park.

Outerloop Games' Chandana “Eka” Ekanayake will participate in a Games for Change Festival panel on June 27th and 28th in New York, discussing representation in video games. The panel will also feature Matt Korba and Matt Daigle (The Odd Gentlemen), Caitlin Shell (Brandible Games), and Leanne Loombe (Netflix).
Thirsty Suitors will soon be available for free on the App Store and Google Play for Netflix subscribers. For updates and more information, visit the official website or follow Outerloop Games on X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube.
