RuneScape's newest challenge, the Gate of Elidinis, is now live! This thrilling new story quest and skilling boss fight tasks players with restoring the corrupted statue of Elidinis.
Continuing the fight against Amascut's corruption, following the events of 'Ode of the Devourer,' The Gate of Elidinis offers fresh gameplay and familiar themes.
Confronting the Corruption in the Gate of Elidinis
Once a sacred passage, the Gate of Elidinis is now tainted by Amascut's dark influence, a haunt for lost souls. Players, solo or in groups of up to nine, must confront the Gate of Elidinis boss. Before battling, preparation is key: mining Moonstone and crafting Spiritual Barriers are crucial to combating the corruption. Strong Mining, Crafting, Divination, and Agility skills are vital for cleansing the statue fragments and repelling Amascut's power. Check out the official update announcement below!
Rich Rewards Await
Victory at the Gate of Elidinis yields substantial rewards. Players can earn new skilling and combat equipment, including the Runecrafting Off-Hand 'Runic Attunement' and the Divination Off-Hand 'Memory Locus.' A new Combat Prayer, a God Book, and a charming boss pet, Edie, are also available. For additional loot, participate in the Gate of Elidinis Hunt event, collecting shards and completing tasks to unlock cosmetic overrides and temporary buffs with the assistance of the Priestesses of Elidinis.
