Toto forecasts the release of a new Mario Kart, hinted at by Nintendo during the Switch 2's reveal, alongside a new 3D Mario game, the already announced Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and Metroid Prime 4, all slated for the console's first year. Furthermore, third-party support is expected to be strong, with Activision's Call of Duty rumored to be part of the mix.

Rumors abound about other third-party titles headed to the Switch 2. In an interview with IGN, the developers of Civilization 7 expressed intrigue about the Switch 2's Joy-Con mouse mode. French video game and accessories maker Nacon has confirmed it has games ready for the Switch 2, while the long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong is also rumored to be on the list. Last month, EA mentioned that Madden, FC, and The Sims could be well-suited for the new console. It's important to note, however, that Activision has not yet officially announced its plans for the Switch 2, and Nintendo has remained silent on the Bloomberg report.
