Get Ready for Sonic Mania: New Mobile Game Updates Inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog 3!

Sega is celebrating the upcoming release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with a flurry of exciting updates across its popular mobile Sonic games. From Sonic Dream Team on Apple Arcade to Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces on iOS and Android, players can expect fresh content directly inspired by the new movie.

First up, Sonic Forces receives a major update on December 12th, introducing a brand-new Metro-city Zone. This thrilling addition boasts three challenging tracks, playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other familiar characters. Complete these levels before seeing the movie for the ultimate experience!

Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team gets a significant boost with the addition of Shadow as a playable character, bringing his unique abilities to the game. Unlock him by tackling Tails’ Challenges. Shadow's Chaos Control and Chaos Shift powers allow manipulation of time, freezing enemies and the environment.

ytThis update also introduces new powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost for all characters, along with exclusive upgrades, including Double Chaos Shift, specifically for Shadow. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks are added, plus a revamped tutorial for newcomers.

For Sonic Dash fans, the update drops on December 20th, offering the chance to collect cards and unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges provide extra rewards to keep the excitement going. Sonic Dash+ on Apple Arcade will receive its Shadow-themed update in January.
