EA's long-running mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, is nearing its end. After a twelve-year run, the game will be sunsetted by Electronic Arts.
The Shutdown Timeline:
The ability to make in-app purchases has already been removed. New downloads will cease on October 31st, 2024. However, existing players can continue enjoying the game until January 24th, 2025, when the servers officially shut down. EA expressed gratitude to its players for their decade-long support in a farewell message.
One Last Chance to Experience Springfield?

You'll guide the Simpsons family and other beloved characters as you recreate the town, adding your own personal touch. Expand your Springfield to include Springfield Heights and even manage the Kwik-E-Mart.
The game is freemium, offering regular updates linked to the show and real-world events. While the game itself is free, in-game "donuts" are the key to accelerating progress.
