Talk to Professor Lodochka at Wild Island
Proceed to the Wild Island mission marker, locating Professor Lodochka at Quite's Camp. Expect an immediate priority: eliminating mercenaries marked on your map. These enemies are readily visible, but prepare for further encounters. Equip yourself accordingly. Eliminating all mercenaries unlocks the path to Lodochka, triggering an optional objective: activating the ventilation system.
Activate the Ventilation System
Consult your map for the fuse location. After retrieving it, a new marker points north to the engineering rooms. Beware an invisible enemy within.
Navigate the shelter's passageways to the engine room. Use the fuse to restore power to the ventilation system. This optional objective simplifies the main mission, though it doesn't offer unique rewards.
Find the Signal Source
Prepare for a challenging encounter; consider acquiring better weaponry. The marked location reveals a cave entrance near the water. Traverse the caverns westward, descending and navigating obstacles. A broken pipe provides access to higher cave levels.
Locate the large cone-shaped spire; the emitter is near it. An invisible enemy awaits on your return journey. Report back to Lodochka to complete the mission, unlocking "Hornet's Nest" as the next main objective.
