For a guaranteed daily supply, the Statue Of True Perfection is your best bet. However, obtaining this statue is no small feat; it requires reaching 100% perfection, which can be tracked in Mr. Qi's Walnut Room on Ginger Island. For a detailed roadmap to perfection, refer to this guide.
Prismatic Shard Uses
Prismatic Shards are versatile and can be used in various ways:
Crafting & Bundles
- The Prismatic Shard is essential for the Missing Bundle, which unlocks the Movie Theater. This bundle appears in the abandoned JojaMart after completing the Community Center.
- In multiplayer, it's an ingredient for crafting the
Wedding Ring, allowing players to propose to one another. The recipe can be bought from the Traveling Cart for 500g, and requires 5
Iridium Bars alongside the Shard.
Gifting
- Prismatic Shards are a Loved gift for all villagers except
Haley. They're a great way to boost relationships with your favorite characters, though other Loved gifts might be easier to come by.
Weapons
- A Prismatic Shard is necessary to acquire the
Galaxy Sword, one of the game's top weapons. To get it, take your Shard to the center of the three obelisks in the Calico Desert, where it will transform into the sword.
- You can also use Prismatic Shards at the Volcano Forge on Ginger Island to enchant tools and weapons with magical bonuses, using
Cinder Shards as well.
Trades
- On Thursdays, the trader in Calico Desert will exchange three Prismatic Shards for one
Magic Rock Candy, which grants substantial boosts to Mining, Attack, and Defense, along with minor Luck and Speed enhancements.
- For a darker transaction, take a Prismatic Shard to the Dark Shrine of Selfishness in the Witch's Hut to transform your children into doves, permanently removing them from the game.
Quests
- The only current quest involving Prismatic Shards is Mr. Qi's Four Precious Stones, found in the Walnut Room. You must deliver four Shards to Mr. Qi by the deadline to complete it.
By understanding these locations and uses, you can make the most of your Prismatic Shards and enhance your Stardew Valley experience.
