How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO
The Fidough Fetch event (January 4th-8th, 2025) marked the debut of Fidough and Dachsbun. Fidough appeared as a wild spawn alongside other canine Pokémon. It was also available through Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges.
Players could also trade for Fidough or Dachsbun. Online Pokémon GO communities (Reddit, Discord, etc.) are helpful for finding trading partners.
Dachsbun didn't appear in the wild. Trainers needed to either trade for it or evolve a Fidough using 50 Candies. Consider evolving your strongest Fidough, as Dachsbun is a capable battler for future events and PvP.
Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?
As of the Dual Destiny season, shiny Fidough and Dachsbun weren't available. However, future events may introduce shiny variants, as is common with Pokémon GO. Until then, Trainers will have to wait for another opportunity.
