Pokemon GO Fest 2025 Host Cities Announced

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025 is coming to Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris! This year's event will span three locations, offering fans worldwide a chance to participate. Past GO Fest ticket prices varied by location and year, prompting speculation about 2025 pricing.

While Pokémon GO's initial popularity has waned, the annual GO Fest remains a significant draw, bringing players together for unique Pokémon encounters. These events often feature rare spawns, region-exclusive Pokémon, and Shiny Pokémon debuts, making them highly anticipated by many. Those unable to attend in person can still participate in a global event.

The 2025 Pokémon GO Fest schedule is as follows:

  • Osaka, Japan: May 29 - June 1
  • Jersey City, New Jersey: June 6 - 8
  • Paris, France: June 13 - 15

Further details, including ticket pricing and event specifics, are yet to be released. Niantic promises to share more information closer to the event dates.

2024 GO Fest and Potential 2025 Pricing

The pricing of past GO Fest events offers some insight. In 2023 and 2024, ticket prices ranged from approximately ¥3500-¥3600 in Japan, while European prices decreased from roughly $40 USD in 2023 to $33 USD in 2024. US prices remained consistent at $30 USD, and global event tickets cost $14.99 both years. Regional pricing appears to be a significant factor.

Recent events suggest potential price changes for 2025. A recent increase in Pokémon GO Community Day ticket prices (from $1 to $2 USD) has sparked player discontent. This raises concerns about a possible GO Fest price hike. Given the negative player reaction to the Community Day price increase, Niantic will likely approach GO Fest pricing cautiously, especially considering the dedication of in-person attendees.
