Pokemon GO Announces Two Legendary Debuts for the Tour: Unova Event

Pokemon GO Tour: Unova Event Brings Black and White Kyurem!

Get ready, Pokemon GO trainers! Black and White Kyurem are finally arriving in Pokemon GO as part of the global GO Tour: Unova event, taking place March 1st and 2nd.

These legendary Pokemon will be appearing in raids, offering players the chance to catch both their standard and shiny forms. The event also features special in-game backgrounds inspired by the original Pokemon Black and White games.

The arrival of Black and White Kyurem has been highly anticipated by fans. Their previous surprise appearance in 2023 fueled excitement, but subsequent absences from events led to some uncertainty. Now, their official debut during the Unova-themed event is a welcome addition.

The GO Tour: Unova event runs globally from 10 AM to 6 PM local time on March 1st and 2nd. But the fun doesn't stop there!

Fusion Frenzy:

Similar to last year's Necrozma fusion, players can fuse Kyurem with other legendary Pokemon:

  • Black Kyurem: Fuse with Zekrom using 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy. Learns the move Freeze Shock.
  • White Kyurem: Fuse with Reshiram using 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy. Learns the move Ice Burn.

Fusion Energy is obtained by defeating Kyurem in raids. Separating the fused forms is free.

Exclusive Event Rewards:

Beyond the legendary catches, players can earn two unique backgrounds themed after Pokemon Black and White. Completing both fusions unlocks a third, even more exclusive background!

With the GO Tour: Unova event fast approaching, prepare for an exciting weekend of raids, fusions, and exclusive rewards!
