Mastering Fortnite's Mending Machines: A Guide to Chapter 6, Season 1 Heals

Unlike Fortnite OG, Chapter 6, Season 1 offers diverse ways to replenish health and shields. While Mending Machines provide a convenient solution, their scarcity necessitates strategic planning. This guide pinpoints all Mending Machine locations within Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1.

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 map highlighting Mending Machine locations.

Mending Machines, an evolution of the classic Vending Machine, offer crucial health restoration and shield boosts. Their limited availability makes each encounter valuable, especially in late-game scenarios. The locations are:

  • Brutal Boxcars train station (inside)
  • West side of the gas station north of Shining Span
  • East side of the gas station in Burd
  • Buildings east of Warrior’s Watch
  • Seaport City (on a staircase)

Remember, a similar map icon also represents Weapon-o-Matics, which dispense weapons but not heals. One such machine is located in Seaport City.

Utilizing Mending Machines

Upon reaching a Mending Machine, you can fully restore health or purchase Shield Potions and Med Kits. Stocking up is advisable, given the unpredictable nature of finding additional heals, particularly after long-range engagements.

Remember, Mending Machines require gold. This in-game currency is readily available through various methods.

Acquiring Gold

Gold acquisition in Fortnite Battle Royale is relatively straightforward. It drops from eliminated players, chests, and previously from in-game vaults (currently unavailable in Chapter 6, Season 1). Focus on eliminating opponents for a higher gold yield.

This concludes our guide to Mending Machine locations in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1. For further gameplay enhancements, explore the Simple Edit feature in Battle Royale.

Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
