Meet Marvel Rivals: Buddy Up & Fight On!

Mastering Friend Connections and Gameplay in Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals, the thrilling 6v6 hero shooter, offers smooth matchmaking, but the real fun lies in teaming up with friends. This guide details how to add friends and play together in Marvel Rivals. Please note: currently, cross-progression and cross-play are unavailable, limiting friend additions to the same platform. However, developers have confirmed these features are planned for future updates.

Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals

  1. Upon launching the game, locate the friend request icon situated in the top corner, adjacent to your player profile.
  2. Clicking this icon reveals a list of recently played players. Select a player from this list to add them to your friends list.
  3. Alternatively, utilize the search bar to input a username, press Enter, and then add the player. Once they accept your request, they will appear on your friends list.

Playing With Friends

With your friends list populated, you're ready to team up!

  1. Access your friends list via the icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Locate the desired friend and select their username.
  3. Send them an invitation to join your game.
  4. Queue for quick play or competitive matches and enjoy playing together.

Console players benefit from automatic friend list synchronization. Friends added on your console's system level will automatically appear in your Marvel Rivals friends list, simplifying the invitation process.

This concludes our guide on adding and playing with friends in Marvel Rivals. For more Marvel Rivals tips and insights, be sure to check out The Escapist.
