Focus your attacks on its breakable parts for maximum damage. The forelegs are the easiest target, as the Congalala often leaves itself open after certain attacks. For the head, tail, and rear, wait for the beast to consume a mushroom, which is clearly visible, and then strike when it expels gas from its front or rear. If you avoid the gas, you can attack these vulnerable areas without fear of immediate retaliation.
If you get hit by the fumes, use deodorant or roll through water to neutralize the effects. Exploit any wounds you cause by using Focus Mode and Focus Strikes to deliver heavy damage, effectively countering breath attacks or ground smashes.
