Marvel Rivals has garnered significant acclaim since the launch of its inaugural season, Season 0: Dooms' Rise. Throughout this season, players have had the opportunity to master over thirty unique characters, identify their preferred heroes, progress through Competitive Ranks, and enhance their profiles with decorations, banners, and a variety of cosmetics for their favorite heroes and villains. These cosmetics are obtainable through multiple avenues, including the Battle Pass, in-game purchases, Twitch drops, and other methods.

One exciting way for players to acquire cosmetics, emotes, profile banners, and sprays is through participating in in-game events and limited-time game modes. The first such event is the Season 0 Winter Celebration, designed to celebrate the holiday season. This event introduces a new limited-time game mode, event-specific challenges, and a curated selection of skins available exclusively during this period. If you're eager to learn more about the Marvel Rivals Winter event and the skins you can collect, you'll find all the details you need in the guide below.

Marvel Rivals Winter Celebration Event Explained

Marvel Rivals' Winter event kicked off on December 20, 2024, and will continue until January 9, 2025. During this festive period, players can dive into a holiday-themed card featuring winter-themed rewards for Jeff the Land Shark, such as a spray, profile banner, emote, and a new skin. To unlock these free items, players must collect Gold and Silver Frost, which will help them progress and unlock new decorations for their card.

To gather Gold and Silver Frost, players need to tackle Winter Challenges, accomplished by participating in the limited-time Winter game mode, Jeff's Winter Splash Festival.

In this engaging arcade-style game mode, players are limited to playing as Jeff the Land Shark in 4v4 team matches. Similar to the Splatoon series, the objective is to use your primary fire to paint the terrain, collaborating with your team to cover the most area. The team that paints the highest percentage of the map at the match's conclusion emerges victorious.

All Winter Event Skins for Marvel Rivals

Alongside the exciting Jeff's Winter Splash Festival game mode, a select range of holiday-themed character cosmetics are available during the event. The first skin, Fuzzy Cuddlefin for Jeff the Land Shark, can be earned for free as the ultimate reward in the Winter event, requiring a total of 500 Frost progression. The second and third skins, Holiday Happiness Groot and Wild Winter Rocket Raccoon, are available for purchase from the shop either as individual bundles or together in the Best Winter Buds bundle at a discounted rate.

Additional holiday-themed cosmetics will be introduced later in the event, with Snow Symbiote Venom and Frozen Demon Magik becoming available for purchase from the shop at a later date.
