Marvel Rivals Season 1 expands its world with a host of new maps, adding to the Fantastic Four heroes and cosmetics already released. These maps, themed around a nocturnal New York City, offer diverse gameplay experiences. Here's a breakdown of each:

Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown

Launched at the start of Season 1, this Convoy map brings a dark, Dracula's Blood Moon-infused Midtown Manhattan to Marvel Rivals. Designed for the game's payload mode, players either escort or defend a moving vehicle across the map. Iconic locations like the Baxter Building, Grand Central Terminal, Stark/Avengers Tower, Fisk Tower, Ardmore’s Bookstore, and Timely Trend are featured, offering familiar landmarks within this unique setting. This is the third Convoy map in Rivals, joining Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path and Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands.

Empire of Eternal Night: The Mystical Sanctum Santorum

This map, a visually stunning rendition of Doctor Strange's Sanctum Santorum, is unique for hosting the game's Doom Match mode – a free-for-all deathmatch. The leaderboard determines winners and the MVP. The map faithfully recreates the mystical mansion, complete with hidden areas, portals, and even a cameo from Bats the Ghost Dog, adding to its rich atmosphere and referencing its appearances in comics and the MCU.

Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park

Expected to launch later in Season 1, this map features a stylized Belvedere Castle as its centerpiece. Situated in a high point of the park, the castle's Gothic architecture fits the "Empire of Eternal Night" theme, suggesting a potential Dracula hideout. This digital rendition of Central Park follows its appearances in various Marvel media, most recently in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

These three maps comprise the new additions to Marvel Rivals Season 1, promising diverse gameplay and visually stunning environments.
