Marvel Rivals 20250327 Patch: New Galacta's Quest Easter Egg and Hero Fixes Revealed

Author : Oliver May 18,2025

NetEase Games has unveiled the patch notes for Marvel Rivals version 20250327, set to roll out just ahead of Season 2's launch in mid-April. The developers have shared an extensive list of updates on their website, detailing the changes that will go live this Thursday, March 27, at 9am (UTC+0). Players can look forward to diving right into the new content without any server downtime, experiencing the revamped heroes and maps instantly.

A standout feature of this update is the addition of a special April Fool's Easter egg to the Galacta's Cosmic Quest board game event. This hidden twist surprise is exclusively available to those who have already completed the event. NetEase has teased that this reward will offer something unique, but the details remain under wraps until the update goes live.

Another key improvement in this update is the reduction of clipping issues on maps. While specific maps weren't mentioned, the team has confirmed the resolution of a glitch on the Hydra Charteris Base map, preventing teammates from being revived outside the play area due to terrain changes.

As Marvel Rivals wraps up Season 1 and gears up for Season 2, the update includes numerous fixes for hero-related glitches. Heroes such as Wolverine, Iron Fist, Iron Man, Loki, Doctor Strange, Magneto, and Human Torch have received targeted ability tweaks. Wolverine, in particular, sees significant improvements to his Feral Leap and Ultimate, ensuring more consistent performance.

Anticipation is building for Marvel Rivals Season 2, slated for April 11, 2025. Speculation is rife about the new heroes that might be introduced, with many fans expecting a focus on the Hellfire Gala. This could mean the addition of characters like Blade and Emma Frost, aligning with NetEase's commitment to introduce at least one new hero every half-season.

Below, you can find the full patch notes for the Marvel Rivals update scheduled for this week.

Fixes

All Platforms

General

  1. Resolved an issue in Custom Game where a disconnected player's character would still appear on the Like page during match settlement.

Maps and Modes

  1. Fixed several terrain issues that could cause characters to sometimes become stuck or clip into strange areas.

  2. Squashed a glitch in the Hydra Charteris Base map where Rocket Raccoon's B.R.B. could sometimes revive teammates outside the play area due to terrain changes.

Heroes

  1. Wolverine's Terrifying Pounce: Resolved an issue where the Hulk could sometimes have abnormal behavior after being catapulted into a terrain KO by Wolverine's Feral Leap. Now, the big guy gets the proper beatdown without any off-script environmental stunts!

  2. Iron Fist's Wall-Climbing Whimsy: Fixed a glitch in Practice Range where Iron Fist wall-climbing was beyond expectations. The master of martial arts can now keep his acrobatic feats on track!

  3. Iron Man's Teleportation Tangle: In Sanctum Sanctorum, Iron Man's use of Hyper-Velocity followed immediately by portal entry could occasionally throw a wrench in the works—resulting in the ability to misfire and some off-color special effects. Now, Iron Man's high-tech strategy is as sleek as ever, letting him jet in and out as he pleases.

  4. Loki-Doctor Strange's Forbidden Tech: Fixed an issue in Doom Match where Loki's transformation into Doctor Strange allowed the use of the forbidden Pentagram of Farallah. This mind-warping mix-up has been vanquished.

  5. Magneto's Magnetic Moments: Resolved an issue in the post-match where Magneto's MVP could sometimes display some bizarre, offbeat visuals. The master of magnetism now commands his moments with true polar precision.

  6. Wolverine's Ultimate with Pinpoint Precision: Fixed a snag in Wolverine's Ultimate Ability where, under high network latency, foes sent flying and slammed into the ground could sometimes end up in the wrong location. Now, every Last Stand lands exactly where it should.

  7. Human Torch's Fiery Focus: Addressed a rare bug where the Human Torch's Primary Attack would sometimes miss its target entirely, leaving his incendiary prowess a little less scorching. With this fix, every burst of flame burns as brilliantly as intended—ensuring his heat is always on target!

Console

  1. Eliminated a bug that sometimes caused the focus to unpredictably shift to earlier messages when opening the chat window.
