Lies of P's captivating world expands with the prequel DLC, Overture.

Revealed during Sony's State of Play 2025, Lies of P: Overture is slated for a Summer 2025 release on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. A gameplay trailer showcases the expansion's offerings.

Building upon the critically acclaimed, Bloodborne-esque action RPG, Lies of P (IGN rating: 8/10), Overture delves into the origins of the "Puppet Frenzy." The trailer hints at new environments, formidable bosses, and a mysterious guide.

Lies of P: Overture – Key Details

Overture serves as a dramatic prequel, setting the stage for the main game's events. Players revisit Krat, the city in its Belle Époque glory, just before the devastating Puppet Frenzy. You'll assume the role of Geppetto's puppet, guided by a Legendary Stalker, uncovering hidden narratives and pivotal battles that shape Lies of P's history.

Setting & Story:

As Geppetto's creation, you'll encounter a mysterious artifact that catapults you back to Krat's final days of splendor. The looming tragedy casts a long shadow as you explore the past, uncovering dark secrets, loss, and vengeance. Your choices will impact both the past and present, revealing hidden truths and shaping the consequences.

Publisher Neowiz previously hinted at the DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. The original Lies of P achieved a million copies sold within a month of its September 18, 2023, launch across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), and Mac (Mac App Store).
