When Do The Thing & Human Torch Release in Marvel Rivals?

With the launch of Season 1 in *Marvel Rivals*, NetEase has introduced The Fantastic Four to the game, but not the entire team just yet. If you're eager to find out when The Thing and Human Torch will join the action, here's what you should know.

Marvel Rivals: The Thing and Human Torch Estimated Release Date

It's highly anticipated that The Thing and Human Torch will become playable characters in *Marvel Rivals* on either February 21 or February 28. Season 1 kicked off on January 10, and NetEase has confirmed that these two heroes will be introduced approximately six to seven weeks after the season's start. This timeline points to a release on the 21st or the 28th.

The first part of Season 1 already saw the addition of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman to the game's roster. Mister Fantastic offers a thrilling experience as a duelist, whereas Invisible Woman demands strategic gameplay. It's expected that The Thing and Human Torch will likely take on the roles of vanguard and duelist, respectively, once they join the game.

Alongside the new characters, Season 1 has brought new maps, game modes, and events, as well as a fresh Battle Pass packed with a variety of new cosmetics for players to earn. By purchasing the Luxury track of the Battle Pass, you can unlock an array of skins, but the free track also offers numerous rewards.

Given the excitement around these additions, it wouldn't be surprising if the latter half of Season 1 includes even more maps and game modes that are specifically tied to The Thing and Human Torch.

That's the latest on the release of The Thing and Human Torch in *Marvel Rivals*. For more tips and detailed information on the game, including explanations of SVP and Ace, as well as insights into the rank reset system, keep an eye on The Escapist.
