After a delay earlier this year, the much-anticipated Grand Outlaws has finally made its debut. Hardbit Studio has confirmed that the open-world mobile shooter will soft launch on Google Play in the US, starting today, May 15th. This means US Android users can now dive into the action, while the rest of the world eagerly awaits their turn.
The developers at Hardbit Studio utilized the additional development time to enhance the game significantly. They expanded locations, improved performance, and introduced more content, resulting in a broader, more stable experience. This groundwork is crucial as the game gears up for its full rollout later this year.
At launch, Grand Outlaws offers three core modes: Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch. Each mode is designed for short-form chaos, featuring mobile-friendly controls and easy access to weapons, vehicles, and customizations. Players can switch between these modes at their leisure or explore the open world at their own pace.
Currently, the soft launch is exclusive to Android, but Hardbit has a detailed multi-platform roadmap. A full Android and Epic Store release is slated for July or August, with iOS and PC versions via Steam and Epic following in October. Console ports for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch are planned for 2026. Additionally, cross-platform play is in development, promising a more connected gaming experience.
Looking ahead, Hardbit Studio is committed to enriching Grand Outlaws with new content. Planned updates include new modes such as Heists and Destruction Derby, live events, a cinematic story mode, and enhanced customization options for characters and hideouts. The studio also aims to introduce brand collaborations and seasonal content drops to keep the game fresh and engaging.
