Author : Simon Apr 11,2025

*GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM*, the eagerly awaited follow-up to the iconic *GIRLS’ FRONTLINE*, introduces players to an enriched experience with a new storyline, upgraded visuals, and a polished gameplay system. A pivotal feature of the game is its Gacha system, which allows players to gain access to new characters and weapons. This system is crucial for advancing in the game, as obtaining powerful units and rare resources can greatly enhance your squad's effectiveness. In this comprehensive guide, we'll delve into the Gacha system of *GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM*, detailing its mechanics and the various types of banners available.

Understanding the Mechanics of the Gacha System

The Gacha system in *GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM* functions on a randomized loot box model, where players use summons to obtain rewards such as characters and weapons. These summons are facilitated by a special in-game currency, which comes in several forms:

  • Access Permissions
  • Special Access Permissions
  • Event-specific Gacha Currency (earned through special events)

The probability of summoning different rarities of T-dolls and weapons is as follows:

  • SSR T-dolls – 0.3% chance of summoning
  • SSR Weapons – 0.3% chance of summoning
  • SR T-dolls – 3% chance of summoning
  • SR Weapons – 3% chance of summoning

Players have the opportunity to summon for both T-dolls (characters) and weapons across all banners, as they are mixed. We will further explore the different types of gacha banners you will come across.

Beginner Procurement Banner

The Beginner Procurement banner is designed to give new players a head start. You're limited to 50 pulls on this banner, but rest assured, you're guaranteed an SSR character within those pulls due to a "pity" system that kicks in during the last ten pulls if you haven't obtained one yet.

GIRLS' FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM Gacha Guide – Banners, Rates, and Pity Explained

The drop rate for SSR characters on this banner is 0.6%, while SR characters and weapons have a 6% drop rate. The pity system ensures an SR character or weapon every 10 pulls, and an SSR character every 80 pulls. If you don't pull the featured character on your first SSR, the second SSR is guaranteed to be the rate-up character (hard pity at 160 pulls). Soft pity starts at the 58th draw. Note that pity does not carry over to other banners.

For an enhanced gaming experience, it is highly recommended to play *GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM* on a larger screen using BlueStacks on your PC or Laptop, along with a keyboard and mouse for more precise control.
